The 2011-2012 school year has gotten off to a great start!  I am so happy to have the teachers and students back at Ferrum for what I know will be a great year.  I would like to thank each of you for a great start to the year.  Business day was a huge success with over 95% of parents and students coming in to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers.  100% of our students were successfully registered using InfoSnap, the new computerized registration process. 

 

We have many exciting things going on this year at Ferrum.  Please pay close attention to the calendar located on the Panther Pride page of our website as well as the calendar located on the bulletin board as you enter our school.  

 

As this year progresses, I look forward to working with the staff, parents, and community for the ultimate success of our students.  Ferrum Elementary School has always had a wonderful reputation for successful partnerships that benefit our students.  I invite you to join the PTO and sign up for our volunteer program.  We need and appreciate your involvement in your child's education.
